This column reads like an e-doc, with specific how to's, like Avoiding Complainers, Negotiating a no BS Clause with your manager, and Getting Super Clear about Objectives/Goals.

If you haven't read his books, I'd also strongly recommend Simplicity and Work 2.0. Same practical, day-to-day advice. He's said that simplicity is just the discipline of common sense. So I guess Radical Simplicity is even more discipline on the basics we all know we should be practicing, but aren't.

Should be "Buildig a Relationship with your Manager"

With a title like "Manage your Manager" I expected advice and tactics on how to deal with a manager who doesn't build effective relationships. Perhaps someone untrustworthy, or irrational. I believe that if you had a manager with whom the presented advice would work, you wouldn't be looking for this topic in the first place. I was disappointed.
